Biography

Jason D. Harris is a Los Angeles-based music producer, studio/playback engineer, Coke Studio artist, and founder of Mind of the Noise.

As an official Recording Academy member, he is part of the prestigious organization behind the GRAMMY Awards, dedicated to supporting and celebrating music creators. With credits including Guy Groove, Kid Cudi, Jennifer Lopez, and Ledisi, Jason continues to contribute to today’s evolving sound with professionalism, creativity, and Grammy-level expertise.

Jason is also a K-12 educator whose life story highlights the transformative power of music and mentorship. With over 15 years of experience as an audio engineer and artist, Jason’s journey is rooted in resilience, creativity, and a mission to empower the next generation.

By 2022, his work was gaining major recognition. He was featured in Billboard magazine as a GRAMMY contender for his work on “The Essence of Hope,” a spoken word poetry album performed by PoeticMoment and composed by Harris and Brandon Forte. His composition for PoeticMoment’s project “Flooded Daisies” earned official selections at prestigious festivals, including Outfest Los Angeles and the Chicago International Children's Film Festival.
